I wanted to build a kennel that would be a "Home Away From Home" for dogs. I know how stressful it can be for a dog when boarding. We have tried to make our kennel comfortable for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. We have placed our toy dogs away from the larger dogs and allowed them to play outside together in their appropriate groups. I feel toy dogs are more comfortable with a buddy.
We love the Greyhounds and have provided them with a large area to sleep in with lots of blankets and pillows to fluff up. We have kept them away from the noisy smaller dogs. We also provide large yards for the Grey's to play in, beds for them to lie in the sun, and pools to cool off in.
Though we know we cannot duplicate "Home" we hope that the dogs boarding with us will find it an easy adjustment.
